Per la vittoria dei Pats è stata fondamentale la giocata difensiva di Dennard in anticipo sulle prime yards difensive. Perchè lì i Saints erano avanti e avrebbero chiuso o quasi la partita. Proprio per questo, trovami un essere vivente che dopo un 4° down non convertito e un intercetto killer, mi combina una cosa simile, come se non fosse successo nulla. L'unico che mi viene in mente è Rodgers. Per il resto, la difesa è stata ancora una volta fenomenale, come dalla week 2 in poi. Talib (poi infortunato) è l'MVP della squadra, Graham che veniva da 120 yards a partita e 6 TD è stato tenuto a ZERO, Colston 1 catch/11 yards, Sproles senza alcun big play...Brees tenuto a 17/36 che per lui è una percentuale veramente ridicola...unico errore concettuale la copertura su Stills... La partita mi ha ricordato molto quella dell'anno scorso contro i Ravens: Buon primo tempo, si fa male un uomo chiave (nel caso recente più uomini chiave), soffriamo in difesa e in attacco arriva il braccino (pur con meno armi dell'anno scorso)...il finale è stato qualcosa che ho fatto fatica a razionalizzare... Ah, la difesona di Rob Ryan consiste in menare testate a destra e a sinistra? Amendola e Connolly estromessi dalla partita, Edelman e Thompkins (e meno male) graziati...nell'ultimo drive sono andati in super prevent defense come nemmeno i principianti...e in generale Ryan è stato salvato dal mancato lancio ad Amendola wide-open sul +7 e dalle tre corse in fila sul 20-17 (McDaniels pessimo)...risultato: vittoria tanto inaspettata quanto meritata...
