Lakeshow 2,435 Posted April 29, 2017 Report Share Posted April 29, 2017 Riepilogando le pick Steelers: - JuJu Smith-Schuster WR in competizione con Martavis Bryant opposite to Antonio Brown; - Cameron Sutton CB in competizione con Ross Cockrell opposite to Artie Burns; - James Conner RB 2 dietro LeVeon Bell (al posto di DeAngelo Williams). Di nuovo un CB undersized dopo il fallimento di Senquez Golson e di nuovo un RB dopo il fallimento di Dri Archer (anche se in questo caso la tipologia di giocatore è diametralmente opposta). Mah. Credo che la società abbia impostato il draft come se Bryant non ci fosse (comprensibilmente, secondo me). Wheaton se n'è andato ai Bears, Rogers è fatto e finito per fare lo slot WR (e nei set a 3 WR credo sia insostituibile), Hamilton e Ayers sono a dir poco unproven. Secondo me nello scenario ideale: Brown WR1, Bryant WR2, Schuster/Rogers WR3. In ogni caso è un possession WR che nel pacchetto mancava. Certo mi pare che il reparto (con Martavis concentrato, s'intende) sia fin troppo abbondante... A trapiantarsi due mani decenti In realtà ha disputato tutta la seconda parte di stagione con una doppia frattura, quindi gli concedo ancora il beneficio del dubbio (sul fatto che possa migliorare una tendenza al drop assolutamente assassina). NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Wednesday that the Patriots cornerback returned to Foxborough this week to participate in optional offseason workouts, per a source informed of Butler's attendance.The 27-year-old cover man skipped the first phase of the team's workouts in April while his future in New England hung in the balance amid trade whispers. Speculation that Butler could be shipped to the Saints all but died, though, after the draft. It's a manageable fate for the fourth-year corner. Playing this season on a one-year, $3.91 million pact, Butler is slated to hit free agency next March. Until that happens, he remains locked into a starting role in New England across from talented free-agent pickup Stephon Gilmore. If Butler felt destined to wind up with the Saints, New Orleans put that concept to bed when they selected rookie cornerback Marshon Lattimore out of Ohio State with the No. 11 pick in last week's draft. Trade durante l'anno (che a tutto il mondo pare assurda ma alla fine non lo è) oppure via in FA e conseguente compensatory pick di terzo giro al draft del 2019. Credo che lo shutdown corner che vuole BB sia Gilmore (il contratto che gli ha dato lo dimostra). Secondo me non valuta Butler come indispensabile (io, come voi, lo rifirmerei). Oppure ha semplicemente senso pagarlo 3mln quest'anno e poi fargli l'offertona dal 2018 in poi. Ma non credo che stia ragionando così.. comunque questo è un altro modo di vedere il draft dei Patriots (non trovo i tweet di giornalisti, mi tocca postarne uno di un tizio con questo nome ) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
