D-GenerationLakers 7,587
Robert Kraft put the NFL's interests as a whole over what he thought might have been best for the New England Patriots. He will accept the punishment of commissioner Roger Goodell in deflate-gate. Kraft took the unusual step of holding a press conference at the start of the league's annual spring meetings. But it's an unusual circumstance. He spoke for a few minutes, taking no questions, and explained that the discussion of deflated footballs in the AFC championship game had continued too long and he wanted it to end. So to end the continuing argument that has played out in punishment he was taking the NFL's punishment, which included a $1 million fine, and the loss of a first-round draft pick in 2016 and a fourth-round pick in 2017. "Believing in the strength of the partnership and the 32 teams, we have concentrated power of adjudication in the office of the commissioner," Kraft said in his press conference, which was broadcast on NFL Network. "Although I might disagree with what was decided, I do have respect for the commissioner, and believe he’s doing what he perceives is in the best interest of the full 32. In that spirit, I don’t want to continue the rhetoric that has gone on for the last four months. I’m going to accept, reluctantly, what he has given to us. And not continue this dialogue and rhetoric. We won’t appeal." Quarterback Tom Brady has appealed his four-game suspension through the NFLPA. It would be a major surprise if he drops that. But Kraft thought the fight over the controversy was not in the best interests of the league. There had been reports that the Patriots and NFL could work on a solution to lessen the penalties from deflate-gate, although that would be an admission by the league that their original penalties were wrong. Kraft's decision to accept the punishment relieves the NFL from that potentially awkward situation, as well as a potentially contentious appeal or any legal action. it worked out perfectly for the NFL and for Goodell. Lessening the penalties would have made the league look indecisive, and the NFL would have looked terrible had the Patriots won an appeal. Kraft didn't admit any wrongdoing in his statement, however. He just wanted the conversation, which has dominated the sports landscape for most of this month, to end. Kraft did not take any questions for that reason. He said he hoped Patriots fans understood his decision. "The heart and soul and strength of the NFL is it’s a partnership of 32 teams," Kraft said. "What has become very clear over those two decades is that at no time should the agenda of one team outweigh the collective good of the full 32." bah, speriamo siano d'accordo però sull'annullare la sentenza di condanna di Brady. D-GenerationLakers 7,587
"Life isn't better without Tommy, according to Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers quarterback told reporters on Tuesday that he would rather see Tom Brady in a Patriots uniform when the two teams square off in the regular season opener.Play NFL Fantasy Football!"He's a guy, I've said for a long time, he's the best in the business, and he proved it again last year winning his fourth (Super Bowl)," said Roethlisberger, per ESPN.com's Jeremy Fowler. "If he's not out there, it's not the same. I have a lot of respect for him on the football field and some of the unbelievable things that he's done. I guess we'll wait and see what's finally going to happen."The NFL has yet to hear Brady's appeal of the four-game, league-imposed suspension he received this month in connection to the ball deflation controversy. The real loser here? NFL fans, who stand to miss out on a showdown between two of the game's premier passers. Pittsburgh didn't face the Patriots last season, but Roethlisberger and Brady combined for a whopping 86 points when New England topped the Steelers in 2013.If Brady's suspension holds, second-year backup Jimmy Garoppolo will be thrust into action for his first NFL start. At least one Steelers linebacker was far from star struck, with Arthur Moats asking Tuesday of the young Patriots passer: "What's his name, Gappo?"Moats hasn't kept up on his NFL news, but Garoppolo will become Pittsburgh's Week 1 obsession if Brady remains in absentia." BengaLaker 2,465
Notizie poco piacevoli da Denver (che farà certamente """""""""""""""""felice""""""""""""""""" Keitaro..............) Two years after missing the majority of the season with a Lisfranc injury,Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady will sit out Denver's entire 2015 campaign. Clady sustained a torn ACL in Wednesday's practice, and his season officially ended Friday when the Broncos officially placed him on their injured reserve list. Lakeshow 2,435
Come setup è formidabile, sarebbe critico recuperarlo. PS. Sonny. PPS. Peralta #1. Love him.

Guest Nigma
4 vittorie su 5 partite coi Dodgers in pochi giorni. Bene.
