Ad inizio serie ha apertamente detto che tifava Indians (vantaggio del fattore campo, favori del pronostico e squadra più forte). Negli anni 2000, quando gli Indians manco esistevano, si dichiarava tifoso Yankees ( e te credo: Jeter, ARod, Cano, Rivera, CC, Williams, Matsui, Posada, Giambi... etc. etc.).
